CAT. Director i realitzador de cinema. Llicenciat en Sociologia per la Universitat del País Basc. L’any 2015 treballa com a cooperant internacional durant tres anys a Llatinoamèrica, Cuba i Colòmbia, on crea el seu primer curtmetratge de ficció, Smart Whatch. El 2018 funda la productora Don Worry Films a Las Palmas de Gran Canària.
Els seus darrers treballs han estat curtmetratges de ficció com Ponte el traje, Horror Vacui o Futuros, aquest últim guardonat al festival Visionaria amb el Segon Premi a Millor Curtmetratge. La seva obra Antes del Todo ha rebut el Gran Premi a Millor Pel·lícula al festival internacional Notodofilmfest l’any 2013, a més de dues nominacions: a Millor Direcció i al Premi AC/E al Talent Espanyol.
L’any 2024 rep el Premi del Públic en la categoria LAB del Festivalito de La Palma amb Rictus i, poc després, el Segon Premi del Jurat a la Mostra de Cinema Visionaria amb el curtmetratge La erosió de l’aigua. Guanyador del Premi Andròmeda al Curtmetratge més destacat del Festivalito de La Palma 2025 amb Toma Tierra.
ENG. Film director and filmmaker. He holds a degree in Sociology from the University of the Basque Country. In 2015, he worked as an International Cooperation worker for three years in Latin America, Cuba, and Colombia, where he created his first fiction short film, Smart Whatch. In 2018, he founded the production company Don Worry Films in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
His most recent works include fiction short films such as Ponte el traje, Horror Vacui, and Futuros, the latter of which received the Second Prize for Best Short Film at the Visionaria Festival. His film Antes del Todo won the Grand Prize for Best Film at the international Notodofilmfest festival in 2013, in addition to receiving two nominations: Best Director and the AC/E Award for Spanish Talent.
In 2024, he received the Audience Award in the LAB category at Festivalito de La Palma with Rictus, and shortly thereafter was awarded the Second Jury Prize at the Visionaria Film Showcase for the short film La erosión del Agua. He won the Andrómeda Award for Outstanding Short Film at Festivalito de La Palma 2025 with Toma Tierra.
