CAT. En un racó de la ciutat, un munt d’objectes rebutjats —un matalàs, un quadre, un diari, un mirall i altres deixalles— lamenten la seva sort. Però el vent fa ballar el diari sota un fanal i aquesta bellesa inesperada fa que tots redescobreixin el seu propi valor. L’ambient s’omple d’alegria i tots celebren la seva nova autoestima. L’arribada d’un camió d’escombraries sembla posar fi a la festa, però, un cop marxa, elles reapareixen i surten al món plens d’esperança i entusiasme.
ENG. A pile of discarded items on a city corner—an old mattress, a painting, a newspaper, and other refuse—initially feel defeated by the labels humans have placed on them. But when a gust of wind causes the newspaper to dance in the lamplight, the trash begins to see its own beauty and worth. Encouraged, they celebrate together in a joyful burst of self-expression. Their revelry is interrupted by an approaching garbage truck, which seems to sweep them away—but in a playful twist, the “Refusers” reappear afterward, escaping from hiding and eagerly venturing into the wider world.
ESP. En un rincón de la ciudad, un montón de objetos desechados —un colchón, un cuadro, un diario, un espejo y otros desperdicios— lamentan su suerte. Pero el viento hace bailar al periódico bajo una farola y esa belleza inesperada hace que todos redescubran su propio valor. El ambiente se llena de alegría y todos celebran su nueva autoestima. La llegada de un camión de basura parece poner fin a la fiesta, pero, una vez se marcha, ellas reaparecen y salen al mundo llenos de esperanza y entusiasmo.
